"Really fun, slickly produced game. If you're not really into all the "realistic" driving games, the Burnout series is the exact opposite. You basically drive as fast as you can and destroy everything in your path. I liked the previous title, Burnout Takedown better, but this title is way better than Burnout Paradise which came after. Many different event types to keep you entertained for a long time."

"This is a really well produced game. Good story, good cinematics, great soundtrack, good voice acting. The action sequences aren't all that varied, but still entertaining enough."

"Conceptually, this game has a lot of potential, but it fails to deliver. The story is half decent, some of the characters are interesting. Some of the action sequences and moves are fun and interesting, but then again, most of them aren't. There are a variety of different activities to do, but you have no control over when to do them. The game is completely on rails. The graphics are not great, the soundtrack while vast quickly becomes annoying. The voice acting is sub-par. With a bit more effort this game could have been quite good, but as it was delivered, it is quite lame."

"This game is not very challenging, but it is a beautiful work of art. The story is mostly well-written, compelling, well-acted and definitely plays proper homage to the film noir genre. The effort that went into (re)creating a very sizable chunk of 1940s LA is astonishing. The soundtrack is superb. Strangely, the detailed facial models for which the game is known are very impressive with some characters, but downright terrible with others."

"This game is typically highly regarded but I don't understand why. There was nothing about the game I liked."

"Pretty great driving game. You can drive dozens of cars and motorcycles. Wide variety of tracks in many cities. Lots of modes. Great graphics. Kind of difficult, at least to me. Lots of replay value."

"It's really only worth 3.5 stars, but since GR doesn't allow half stars, I'll be generous. I was a big fan of the last Area 51 on original Xbox. This game is nowhere near as good in terms of story or voice acting, but it is still a fun, not too difficult squad-shooter."

"Sigh. Every Tiger Woods game since 2005 has been a major let down for me. The graphics keep getting better, but the rest of the game keeps getting worse. Other than being able to play Augusta for the first time in a video game, there is nothing appealing in this game. Oh and the caddie is really annoying."

"There isn't much wrong with this game. It is fun, original, funny, well-acted, and fair. Chapters 2 and 3 can be somewhat tedious after a while, but the payoff is eventually delivered and it is worth the wait."

"When I first started playing this game I liked it a lot. That didn't last. One thing's for sure, this game is pretty original. Unfortunately, it's originality doesn't necessarily make it great and actually wears thin real quick. It is a combination of Japanese RPG with some platform action sequences. It is very preachy, and somewhat frustrating. This game would be better if all the RPG elements were stripped out and just the platform sequences remained. Would make a decent Xbox Arcade game."
