Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
"Naughty Dog's 2nd Household name trilogy kicks off with an amazing bang. I like how similar this game is to Crash as far as some of the platforming concepts go and I also like how Jak and Daxter create an identity of their own. The story is great. The villains are great. I like the different powerups you collect in the game and how they have different abilities based on the color that you pickup. The locations are amazing as well and blend into more of an open world area where you platform and explore. Definitely recommend giving this game a try. Playthrough 2 (July 3, 2025 - July 4, 2025) For this playthrough I really enjoyed the different variety of missions that you get to play, which exercise your platforming as well as fighting skills in game as well as being able to appreciate the amount of detail put onto the world."

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
"An amazing remaster of the original trilogy. The graphics of the original games were remastered to make the feel of the original game there to fit with the times of the modern gamer. The time trials added to the first 2 games were a nice touch to see how fast someone can speed run the game as well as give the first 2 games extra value. The ability to play as coco and crash is amazing because it makes coco have more of a heroic presence in the game. Definitely a must play for those that either have experienced the original trilogy or for those that are looking for a modern day platformer to play. Playthrough 2 (July 2, 2025 - July 3, 2025) I enjoy paying attention to the small details in the game for this playthrough. The music for example while incorporating the feel of the original game is able to distinguish itself by adding in its own style. I also like how there are a few visual differences between the original game in its animation compared to the newer version and that definitely makes you feel like you are playing a new experience with the Crash Bandicoot original trilogy."

Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro
"The sequel to Spiderman is great. The classic comic book esque story with great platformer controls and action controls and great bosses. I also enjoyed the stealth aspect in this game that you can do or fight if you choose to do that as well. Collectibles are abound as well and will need to look extra close to find them. A great game to play for the lover of the iconic Marvel comic book hero. Playthrough 2 (July 1, 2025 - July 2, 2025) On the second playthrough I experimented with all the unlockable costumes and not only do they make the visual experience of playing the story more interesting, the different powerups you get with each costume switch make the gameplay experience much more interesting as well."

Spyro the Dragon
"The game that started the classic Spyro series. What is amazing about this game is the unique level designs as well as the fact that the only collectibles that progress you the game are gems and dragons. Defeating all enemies is important and the platform is engaging and challenging. A must play for those that love classic platformers! Playthrough 2 (July 1, 2025 - July 1, 2025) What I enjoyed most about the second playthrough is the game feels fast in a good way. There is never a slow down in the action and it feels like you are in stepping on the gas from start to finish in order to do the collectibles while being engaging enough to challenge you on how skilled you are in completing pristine platforming motions."

Outlast
"This is a great survival and psychological horror videogame. I enjoyed the creepy atmosphere of the Asylum and how the story unfolds. The stealth horror mechanisms of the game worked perfectly and enjoyed uncovering the mystery of the plot and the story beneath the Outlast universe by being an explorer and uncovering all the documents available to piece together what took place."

Batman: Arkham Origins
"An amazing way to deliver a Batman Origins story. Amazing introductions to the main characters we grow up to love in the Batman Universe as well as it's self contained Arkham Universe. Enjoyed the detective challenges and the fighting moves and gadgets you get to use before the other gadgets become available in the later Arkham games in the chronological universe. Definitely a great game to play to kick off the Arkham series and best played first before playing the other games."

Ratchet: Deadlocked
"Definitely an interesting take in the Ratchet and Clank Series. I felt the emphasis on the weapons, gunplay and vehicle play over the platforming was an interesting and amazing change of pace for the series. The weapons you get in the game can be customized to interesting design choices making the way you play the game potentially unique and similar in an almost infinite number of ways. Definitely recommend this game for the unique way that you play just as Ratchet saving the galaxy."

Batman Begins
"An amazing game that ties in with the movie perfectly while taking some liberties on its own. I loved the fighting mechanics, the puzzles as well as the detective works that goes on in the game. Playing the Arkham series beforehand, this game feels like an amazing prototype of how amazing the Batman games become in the future."

GoldenEye 007
"A classic shooter that most n64 gamers know very well especially for the multiplayer. The story is excellent as well as it follows the movie pretty closely while taking some liberties with the levels as well which add up to more exciting missions to play. Lots of weapons, great shooting mechanics and a great introduction to the FPS genre for those that want to start with the right game. Playthrough 2 (June 26, 2025 - June 26, 2025) I enjoyed the music. I can see how some of the OST got it's inspiration when Rare made Perfect Dark a few years later."

Diddy Kong Racing
"A classic racing game that brings back nostalgia. A simple storyline coupled with great powerups and challenges. Many courses to try out which are different themes and enjoyable to see the shortcuts and just how well you can race. Great for single player and local multiplayer as well. Playthrough 2 (June 25, 2025 - June 26, 2025) Replaying this game I have to give credit to the powerups that upgrade when you collect multiple balloons of the same color. It makes you pay attention to the actual powerups that you collect which makes the racing game have a strategic element to it."

Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal
"A great improvement to the 1st and 2nd games. The third game in the series does an amazing job of combing both amazing platforming, amazing shooting with weapons and health that progress as the games goes along. More challenging and amazing side missions that give you a lot to do in the game. The characters are amazing, the enemies and bosses are amazing as well. Definitely a great play and a great continuation of the Ratchet and Clank Series."

Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando
"An amazing sequel to Ratchet and Clank. The story is amazing, the weapons are amzing especially having the ability to upgrade them the more that you use the weapons. I also enjoy the health upgrades as well whether you pick up the collectibles or you get them based on the experience that you get from killing the enemies. The collectibles themselves are challenging in a great way and really test your platforming and puzzle skills. The arena modes are great as well as the extra side missions you can participate in. Definitely a great game to play after you play the first one."

Saints Row
"An absolutely amazing sandbox shoot em up. Similar to Grand Theft Auto however there are a few twists where you build up your own criminal empire in Saints row against a variety of different enemy factions. I enjoy the different missions and the characters are fleshed out and have their own sagas as far as how Saints Row is built on. Definitely recommend playing to get an amazing sandbox video game vibe."

Perfect Dark
"I remember playing this game too at a young age when I had my N64. Playing it made me realize that while the campaign was short, it was exhilarating. A lot of different weapons, tricky enemies and the plot of the campaign was also intriguing. A great play especially for those that want a quick dose of FPS. Playthrough 2 (June 17,2025 - June 17,2025) Took notice of the music and I have to say that this can be listened to anywhere outside of this game. It feels like an early 2000s house playlist that you can put on whether you are relaxing by yourself or with friends."

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time
"An amazing mega crash game that serves as the sequel to the original trilogy. The levels are amazingly massive. I enjoyed using all the different powerups you get access to in the game. The challenge is incredible and is engaging in the game. All the classic Crash villains make an appearance. The playable characters beyond Crash are amazing too. There are plenty of levels, trials and modes of the game to play that makes Crash 4 an incredible time sink."

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
"Amazing game set in a Miami Vice like area. Sunshine, guns, and setting up your own operation down south is absolutely amazing. Great characters, amazing missions and being able to purchase property to generate income is a great addition compared to Grand Theft Auto 3. Weapons and vehicles galore is well. Great enemies to fight off as well. Definitely a must play if you love the Grand Theft Auto series."

Batman: Arkham Knight
"An amazing way to end the Arkham trilogy. A gigantic map that makes the two previous games feel like dwarves compared to this one. Amazing gadgets, villains galore, enemies galore. Plenty of things to do and it makes the entirety of Gotham feel playable. Ultimately, it definitely feels like a 24 hour day of feeling like the Batman protecting the home he loves. Definitely play this game and finish off the trilogy in an amazing way."

"An amazing conclusion to the Jak trilogy. Amazing storyline with amazing worlds that are developed that combine both the old world of Jak 2 with the new world that Jak 3 presents. Enjoyed the combination of using both the light and the dark powers of Jak and am amazed on how much it added to the personality of Jak himself. Loved using the weapons and the different modes the weapons can be used on. A great conclusion to the game and a must play."
