"Fun puzzles to distract from studying. Great friendship was made over Chip's Challenge (well, and multivariable calculus, Matlab, chocolate, discussions of third/inter-gender ("fe"--pronounced FEE, fim, fis; symbol: Greek Phi) etc.). Yes, in 1990s."

"I liked that you could design your own race course but didn’t like that you couldn’t save them. So I wrote down the sequence of obstacles in a notebook to be able to recreate them later. Not sure if I ever did that though."

"Not sure this is the exact same game I played ages ago on Prodigy, but reads similar, though the publication date (1995) is several years after I played this. Enjoyed the many dimensions to managing the corporation, gave a lot of intuitive insight into economics, corporate strategy. Not that I've applied those lessons directly, but I learned a lot by making silly, juvenile mistakes (e.g. like repeatedly tendering stock offerings and diluting the bejeezus out of my shareholders ;) )"
